Repair Pictures Verboten

So we made it to the Lazy Daze Motorhomes factory, and Vince was happy we came early ... especially when he checked out the situation.  As (bad) luck would have it, the rear end caps that I thought just needed to be sealed, had in fact let water in to the rear wall, and that would (at a minimum) have to be removed and rebuilt.

I would of course like to have taken pictures, but Vince didn't want me to do that for whatever reason, and I respected his wishes.  After all -- he was squeezing me in to what was envisioned initially to be a 2-day project, and now would take at least a week.

So we holed up in a Best Western motel in Chino, CA, and got a rental car, and tried to make the most of our time in the area.  Little did we know how much time we would have to get the know the area ;-)

Here are some photos of the landscaping around the motel and surrounding area.  It wasn't too bad a place, though somewhat noisy.  But hey, we had decent wifi, and reasonable breakfast, and wheels to get out to dinner and sightsee.

While I was out walking around taking these pictures, I was approached by a man named George who started up a conversation.  In a future post we'll see just where that conversation led.
